Apprenticeship as a Mechatronics technician

If you are as interested in mechanics as you are in electronics, an apprenticeship as a mechatronics technician is just the thing for you.

Mechatronics engineers are mechanics and electronics engineers rolled into one. They work in plant and mechanical engineering, where they are responsible for the assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of complex machines, installations, and systems.

The measuring and testing of electronic variables is just as much a part of the job as machining mechanical parts and setting up electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems. Mechatronics engineers carry out their work both in the company and directly on site at the customer’s premises.

At Weiss Technik, mechatronics engineers ensure the flawless interaction of mechanics, electronics, and control technology in our sophisticated special machines, which are used to manufacture high-tech products for worldwide use in the automotive, solar technology, and electrical industries as well as in many other sectors.

During your apprenticeship, you will learn everything about the assembly, commissioning, and maintenance of our complex special-purpose machines in order to ensure the perfect interaction of mechanics, electronics, and control technology.
